DOSE 2 of Purple Mindful Mode - Sensing Vs Analysing
The headlong rush of the world can absorb us so much it erodes our sense of presence in the body.
We can spend so much time analysing, planning and comparing - “inside our heads” - that we lose our sense of what we “feel” in our body. We lose that other important skill of ‘sensing’ instead of ‘analysing’.
This is the second of the seven mindful “dimensions”. See Seven Steps to Heaven
We “feel” it from Prince in his personal intensity, his ‘presence’ that makes his music so powerful and touches our souls.
He was always fully present in everything he gaves us, physically, emotionally, soulfully.
I’m a musician. And I am music.
He embodied it with his whole being.
To be mindful means to be back in touch with your senses so you can see, hear, touch, smell, taste things as if for the first time.
When you come back to direct sensory contact with the world, you gradually cultivate a direct, intuitive sense of what is going on in your inner and outer worlds.
And, this 'sense' is is the foundation of mindful awareness, waking up to what’s happening inside of you, and in the world, moment by moment.
‘The Purple Energy Shot’ themed #NightOutinYogaPants is an opportunity to explore the mind-body connection through a mindful yoga flow and healthy eats.
It’s a dose of well-being while socialising and having fun - with your mat as your dance floor.
